Daniele Antonini
VP Engineering, CTO
(Master Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Rome "Tre" in 2006).
Daniele has dedicated his master thesis to the technologies behind the Livebase concept, and has contributed to the startup of the company. He masters all the open-source technologies we use and he has a genuine talent for scouting, learning, leveraging and even debugging new ones as we decide to adopt them.
Daniele is a constant source of valuable ideas on the overall architecture of the LiveBase platform and, as a talented developer, he's also responsible for the design and the implementation of all the core LiveBase components running server-side (including the distributed application framework and our state-of-the-art code generator).
Daniele also participates the recruiting interviews in order to select the best interns, then mentors them effectively on both technologies and methodologies.
Pietro Palladino
VP Research
(Master Degree in ICT Engineering at the University of Perugia in 2006, currently PhD student on Information Visualization)
Pietro started working at the technologies behind the Livebase Designer during his Master Thesis, and then accepted to co-found the company. As a researcher on Information Visualization and Human-Computer Interaction, Pietro's main goal, quite simply, is to make our Engine Designer the most intuitive information-modeling tool on the planet.
Spending part of his time at the University of Perugia, Pietro acts as a strategic contact point with the Academic Research, feeding fhoster.com with a constant flow of ideas and intuition on diagrammatic user interfaces and visual/conceptual languages.
As an incredibly talented software engineer, finally, Pietro is also responsible for the development of the entire Engine Designer, a major subsystem of the LiveBase platform and one of the few almost completed.

Staff (employees and consultants)
Michele Velotti (Master Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Roma "Tre"). Michele has been hired after the very good job he has done on the Livetable subsystem during his internship with us. Now he's working on the LiveBase Application Framework.
Simone Cacciatore (Master Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Roma "Tre"). Simone is currently working on the both the Hosting Server Agent and on its interface (based on web-services) with the servants supporting the LiveBoard on the Portal Server.
Manuel Cash (Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering). Manuel is working on the QueryGenerator, the DatabaseFiller and on the CardinalityChecker server-side components of the LiveBase platform. He also wrote the initial model validation algorithm.
Gabriele Barboni (Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering). Gabriele is working on the user interface allowing customers to manage their accounts, create orders, upgrade/downgrade their profiles and browse their invoices.
Thomas Loesch (Master Degree in Information Engineering). Thomas is working on the server-side functionality for importing MS Excel files and MS Access databases into Livebase workgroups.
Carlo De Bari (Master Degree in Information Engineering). Carlo is integrating JasperReport with our EngineFramework, server-side, in order to provide the generated applications with advanced reporting capabilties.
Current interns
Andrea Nardone (student taking his Master Degree in Information Engineering). Andrea is working in Brazil, looking for partners and helping us in defining a business plan for our expansion in that country.
Past contributors (latest only)
Carlo Luchessa (Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering). He has worked on a technology for accelerating the build of large GWT applications by pre-compiling GWT objects as JS libraries and wrapping them back as GWT objects.
Luca Rossi (Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering). Luca has supported the development of our final portal and on the integration of CAS and ordering/billing functionality.
Disheng Qiu (Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering). Disheng has worked on the new JSP portal, featuring CAS-based single-sign-on, JRoller integration and custom ordering & billing.
Lorenzo Mattielli (Master Degree in Information and Telecom Engineering). Lorenzo has supporting the development of the Livebase Engine Framework used by our code generator to translate models into applications.
Sara Moroni (Master Degree in Information and Telecom Engineering). Sara has supported the development of the Livebase Workgroup Framework used by our code generator to translate models into applications.
Andrea Pacifico. Andrea has worked on the DashboardServant, on the OperationLoggingAndRecovery and on the Testoboard server-side components of the Livebase platform.
Emanuele Trapanese. Emanuele has worked on the HostingServant, on the FileTransferService and on the Testboard server-side components of the Livebase platform.
Angelo Brandimarte. Angelo has worked on the rengineering of the LiveTable along with Michele, taking care of important usability and efficiency issues.
Iuri Fanti. Iuri has worked on a first prototype of the DatabaseUpdater, the Livebase component providing automatic and data-preserving upgrades of a database schema after changes on the corresponding model.
Massimiliano D'Amico. Massimiliano has been responsible for testing Liferay as a technology for our portal. Thanks to his prototyping skills, we ended up discarding Liferay because it was somehow slowing down embedded GWT applications.
Dario Sangiovanni. Dario has supported the development of the Livebase Application Framework used by our code generator to translate models into applications. He focused on the server side of the framework, and he also set up our testing and monitoring environment.
Andrea Ruocco. Andrea has developed the first prorotypes of the functions for generating, cloning and downloading/uploading hosted databases (a core part of the current Application Management and Hosting Subsystem)
Gabriele Giammatteo. Gabriele has worked on prototypes testing the technology now used by the Application Management and Hosting Subsystem to programmatically control web applications on tomcat (deploy, undeploy, start, stop, etc.)
Luca Oddi. Luca has worked on the JEDI project, a set of code-generation techniques that are now widely used in the Livebase database and application builders. Luca has also given a fundamental contribution in shaping our current modeling approach.
